orange on a rainy day by netghost orange on a rainy day by netghost
I'm not a particularly good photographer, which is a combination of being told so, and knowing that I'm only taking photos so that I can get them into photoshop ;) Anyways, I took the photo on Capital Hill in front of the Seattle Asian Art Museum. If it weren't so cloudy, you could see the space needle behind that sculpture. Of course it was so cloudy, which is exactly how I like it.

I am including the original unedited photo in the download, but no .psd file, I had to flatten it too many times to make it very interesting ;)

1oo% photoshop + powershot s110 + glitchy behavior

I really like the orange part. Is that a flower? Anyway, that part on a black background would look really cool, but the current background looks weird.

the combination of (pseudo-) painterly elements
and technological ones is very nicely balanced,
especially as that relationship mirrors
the one in the image.
the composition, as well, is exquisite.

Very nice dude, I like so much white. That is a new look for you. Most of your pieces usually go up to a light grey or so. I like the white though. You should do some more exploration of this style. Like everyone else sez: love the colors!

Thats bizarrely close to ink or paint. It's incedible, I had no idea it was a cged photograph. That's kickass, man. I hope to see more like this. And the colors are nice, but not my cup of tea. I dig the way they seem to overlap like transparent washes, though.

This is very nice. I love the oranges and the mix of scratchy and watercolory textures.

I'll put just about anything on my desktop, but to hang a piece of art on a wall of my home, it has to have a certain elegance, refinement, and sense of transcending any periods or trends: it must be timeless. This has that.
